NOTES: Soil acidity in the Lehigh Valley is generally alkaline so you will need to add something to the soil to make them bloom blue/purple. For fastest results, Aluminum Sulfate is a good soil acidifier, pine needles are also a way to change the soil acidity but is a more involved process. *Not all varieties can turn blue, some only get to purple.
